The 55-plus Safari Mobile Home Park is located next door to the popular Palm Springs Backstreet Art District, directly behind the BMW dealership on E. Palm Canyon in South Palm Springs.
The Art District offers regular tours of artist’s studios, art openings and other events each month, offering endless activities for 55-plus artists and art lovers living in the Safari Park. But you don’t have to be an artist or art lover to love this park. It’s also just one block from the famous Parker Hotel, once owned by the singing cowboy of movies and radio, Gene Autry. The reality show The Parker was also filmed for a season at the hotel. Overall, it’s a very vibrant and ideal neighborhood for active adults and seniors who prefer to live in the heart of all the action.
The park opened in the 1960s and has been well maintained. The views are amazing and the South Palm Springs location is central to everything.
Built in the 1970s, El Dorado Palms Estates is the only gated, 55-plus mobile home community in the city of Palm Springs where you own the land. That’s right, no lease and no monthly rent. The HOA fees are also low, in the $200s per month, as of this post.
The development is also conveniently located next door to the Target shopping center, Starbuck, Trader Joe’s and other shops, restaurants and services.
