The star is sponsored by Modernism Week, Palm Springs Art Museum Architecture and Design Council, Palm Springs Modern Committee, and Palm Springs Preservation Foundation. The ceremony is open to the public and the media.

SōL Palm Springs is the newest home development in the city of Palm Springs. In fact, ground is just now being broken on these ultra modern downtown homes.

Palm Springs Modernism Week gets more popular each year and each year hotels and other accommodations fill up faster. If you’re planning to attend next year’s events, you would be wise to make your plans now.
If you are planning to purchase a midcentury modern home while you are here, you may want to rethink your plans. February is high season in the desert and competition for any home that is half way decent is fierce! Last year, most midcentury modern homes sold for way above asking price, during season. On the other hand, if you buy during off season–summer and early fall–you’ll have very little competition and may even be able to only pay full asking price. When it comes to Palm Springs midcentury modern homes and condos, paying full price is considered a bargain.
