Elvis Presley’s former Palm Springs home is currently bank owned and goes on the auction block Saturday, October 25th at noon.
The 4 bedroom, 7 bathroom celebrity hillside estate is located at 845 W. Chino Canyon Road in the Little Tuscany Estates neighborhood of Palm Springs. The auction will be held on-site.
Built in 1946, the 5,000+ square foot historic compound sits on 1.75 acres of land, offers a swimming pool and sweeping mountain and city views. Elvis owned the home until his death in 1977. It is only one of two known homes to have been owned by the King of Rock and Roll.
If you are out of area and need a Realtor to represent you at the auction, please contact me today.
The Movie Colony neighborhood, located in the downtown Palm Springs area, was one of the first luxury home developments in the city. Many celebrities have called the neighborhood home over the years. Home prices are once again on the rise, so this may be your last opportunity to snag a deal.
Ruth Hardy Park is Palm Springs’ equivalent of New York’s Central Park. Set in the heart of the city, the spacious park is surrounded by upscale, luxury homes. Best of all, you own the land and there are no homeowner association fees (HOAs).
Tahquitz River Estates, located just south of downtown Palm Springs, was named for it’s location, along the base of the Tahquitz waterfall river, but the reason buyers love this neighborhood is because of it’s midcentury modern homes, because you own the land and because there are no monthly homeowner association fees (HOAs).

The Old Las Palmas neighborhood of Palm Springs is considered by most to be “the” luxury and celebrity neighborhood of the city. The Movie Colony, The Mesa, Little Tuscany, Southridge and a few other neighborhoods in the city are also well know for their luxury homes and estates, but Old Las Palmas is arguably the most recognizable.
Located just a few blocks from downtown Palm Springs it also has one of the best locations. You own the land and there are no homeowner association fees (HOAs) in Old Las Palmas and it’s still possible to purchase a home here for under $1 million dollars. It’s likely to be a fixer, though.
If you’ve driven through the neighborhood then you know most of the homes are hidden behind tall hedges and out of sight. To view behind the hedges of any Old Las Palmas home, currently on the market, please contact me today at firstname.lastname@example.org or 760-600-6152.
Carmen Miranda, William Holden, Loretta Young, Eva Gabor, Jerry Lewis and many other celebrities have all called the Deepwell neighborhood of South Palm Springs home. And, now you can too! Plus, there are no monthly HOA dues and you own the land.
