One of the free events, still open, at this year’s Modernism Week is the “E. Stewart Williams, Architect : A Palm Springs Modern Master” exhibition.
Daily during Modernism Week, from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
Palm Springs Public Library, Main Atrium
300 S. Sunrise Way, Palm Springs, CA 92262
Emerson Stewart Williams (1909-2005) is probably best known as the architect of Frank Sinatra’s Twin Palms, Palm Springs estate. The home is one of the most iconic midcentury modern residences in the desert, and perhaps the world. Many of his other well known works will also be exhibited.
