The Alta Neighborhood In Palm Springs Makes Its Film Debut

“Hidden Away,” the first ever Palm Springs “Film Friendly” Incentive production, which filmed right here in Palm Springs, will premiere this weekend on Saturday, July 27 at 8 p.m. on Lifetime Television Network and at 1 p.m. on Sunday, July 28.

The movie, which filmed at several iconic locations throughout the city, including the Palm Springs Art Museum, Downtown restaurants, the Saguaro Hotel, the Aerial Tramway, the Windmills, and was the first film to receive a $5,000 incentive grant from the City of Palm Springs Film Friendly Incentive Program, in partnership with P.S. Resorts and the Palm Springs Bureau of Tourism as a way to entice more Hollywood film, television and photography producers to film in Palm Springs – and stimulate our local economy.

While the Lifetime TV movie starred Emmanuelle Vaugier, Ivan Sergei,  Thomas Calabro and Sean Patrick Flanery, the real star was the city of Palm Springs and especially the luxury neighborhood of Atla, in South Palm Springs. The lead character plays a Palm Springs Realtor (what else) who lives in a super cool contemporary Alta home, where many of the scenes are filmed.

If you happen to be in the market for an ultra cool, modern, luxury, million dollar home, you could live in this home, in real life, or a similar one in the neighborhood
