The City of Palm Springs will Celebrate Independence Day with an “All American Fourth of July” Fireworks Spectacular on the 4th of July.
FREE admission for the fireworks show begins at 8 p.m. and everyone is invited to bring blankets and lawn chairs and sit on the field.
As Palm Springs continues its year-long celebration of 75th anniversary events, the City will be celebrating Independence Day with a full day of activities.
You can start the day off at the Palm Springs Swim Center, 401 S. Pavilion Way. The pool will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to help residents and visitors cool off.
Later in the day, VillageFest, the Coachella Valley’s most popular street fair, will be open from 7 to 10 p.m., on July 4, and will provide red, white and blue cupcakes, while they last.
The holiday will culminate with the City’s legendary “All American Fourth of July” fireworks spectacular and POWER baseball at Palm Springs Stadium, 1901 E. Baristo Road. Mayor Steve Pougnet will throw out the first pitch as the POWER take on the L.A. Brewers at 6:05 p.m. followed by patriotic fireworks at 9:15 p.m.
